Inspired by Matisse's paper cuts, this modern art of limited prints, a questions the tension between the color, which will tend to cover the support, and the drawing, which marks the limits of the shape, traced with a linocut pattern applied each time on a different pictorial prepared support.
This particular series of 5 is trying to capture a moment of movement. The moment has multiple possibilities, so there is an obvious need for repetition in developing such an approach.
It is just so much to say that one simple artwork is not enough.
