The Trip

Born from the artist's desire to find his place in the world, the work starts from the idea of the Borromean knot, built from the intersection of three circles, Symbolic-Real-Imaginary, which determine each other and cannot exist without each other. Their intersection is the fulcrum that for the artist signifies his very presence in society. As an instrument of communication, the work attempts to offer the viewer a philosophical journey through concepts and ideas with a sudden return to reality. The stylistic practice combines archaic formulas, invoked by the extensive use of gold leaf, with the geometry of abstract style. Circles, curved lines, rectangular patches draw the eye and let it circulate. At the bottom of the work, the canvas has been frayed to make room for another piece of material, attached to the main work, made up of patches roughly stitched together. This creates an additional plane, that, depending on the viewer, may or may not be visible. Născută din dorința artistului de a-și găsi locul în Lume , lucrarea pornește de la ideea nodului borromean , construit din intersecția a trei cercuri, Simbolic-Real-Imaginar, care se determină unul pe celălalt și nu pot exista unul fără celălalt. Intersecția lor este punctul de sprijin care pentru artist semnifică însăși prezența lui în societate. Instrument de comunicare, lucrarea încearcă să ofere spectatorului o călătorie filozofică, printre concepte și idei, cu o bruscă revenire la realitate. Practica stilistică îmbină formule arhaice, invocate de folosirea extinsă a foiței de aur, cu geometria stilului abstract. Cercuri, linii curbe, pete rectangulare atrag privirea și o lasă să circule. În partea de jos a lucrării, pânza a fost sfășiată pentru a face loc unei alte bucăți de material, prins de lucrarea principală, format din petece cusute grosier între ele. Se creează astfel un plan suplimentar, care poate fi sau nu observat.
